Abstract

Stroke is the leading cause of death and disability in the world. According to statistics, more than 65 thousand new cases of stroke are registered in Uzbekistan every year. Patients after a stroke have been experiencing various health problems for a long time and undergo prolonged rehabilitation. The article is devoted to the analysis of scientific literature data and the results of clinical studies devoted to the study of the effect of stroke on the condition of the oral cavity and the features of dental care for patients who have suffered acute cerebral circulatory disorders. These studies confirm the relevance of the problem of developing a unified tactic for dental implantation in stroke patients, as well as supportive therapy to improve the effectiveness of dental treatment.
