Improvement of comprehensive treatment of odontogenic purulent-inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region (review article)

The purpose of this review article is to analyze modern approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of limited odontogenic purulent-inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region. The article discusses key pathogenetic mechanisms, clinical features, and current principles of complex therapy, including rational antibiotic use, physiotherapeutic support, and minimally invasive surgical interventions. Special attention is paid to improving treatment strategies aimed at reducing hospitalization time, preventing complications, and enhancing rehabilitation outcomes. Based on a review of national and international studies, the paper highlights current trends in optimizing comprehensive management of these conditions.
