Abstract

Long-term use of removable dentures is associated with the accumulation of microbial plaque and biofilm formation on their surfaces. This study evaluated the clinical and hygienic effectiveness of a new hygienic agent for the care of removable dentures. The results demonstrated a reduction in denture contamination and microbial load following the use of the proposed hygienic agent.
