Abstract

Removable dentures remain widely used in orthopedic dentistry; however, long-term use is associated with microbial plaque accumulation and biofilm formation. This study aimed to develop a hygienic powder for cleaning removable dentures and to evaluate its preclinical toxicological safety. Acute and chronic toxicity studies demonstrated the absence of lethal outcomes and clinically significant pathological changes. The obtained data confirm a high safety profile and justify further clinical investigation.
